Spanish freestyle football star Javier Sanz (@javifreestyle), who commands a global following of over 6 million, visited Shenzhen from Aug. 7 to 9, where he met fans of the Spanish national team, explored city landmarks, and got hands-on with futuristic technology.
At Shenzhen Talent Park in Nanshan, he savored coffee brewed by a robotic barista; at INNO100 — the first officially authorized Kickstarter flagship retail hub in China, located in Shenzhen Bay Culture Square — he had a luggage tag laser-engraved on the spot, tried on smart glasses, and played chess against a robot. He also took a robotaxi from his hotel to Nantou Ancient Town for the first time in his life.
