Siemens Healthineers started investing in Nanshan in 2002 and it has now developed into one of the world’s largest research and production bases for Siemens Healthineers. In May 2023, Siemens Healthineers announced an additional investment of over 1 billion yuan to build a new high-end medical equipment R&D and manufacturing base in Nanshan District. After completion, it will become Siemens Healthineers’ new R&D and manufacturing base under the “dual site operation mode” in Shenzhen.
